BonePep® Hydrolyzed Egg-Yolk Peptide 100mg Japan

100 mg/day cut bone-breakdown markers in a 6-month human trial

What it is

BonePep® is a peptide ingredient made by gently breaking down egg-yolk protein into smaller, easy-to-absorb pieces through enzyme hydrolysis. It is patented and produced in Japan by Pharma Foods International. Because the protein is already pre-digested into short peptides, your body can take it up and put it to use at a small daily dose of 100 mg.

How it works

Bone is living tissue that is constantly torn down by cells called osteoclasts and rebuilt by cells called osteoblasts, and density depends on keeping those two in balance. BonePep® tips that balance toward building. It activates the Wnt and beta-catenin signaling pathway, raising Wnt3a, LRP5, RUNX2 and OPG, which tells osteoblasts to multiply and mature. In human bone cells it also fires the ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK pathways and switches on osteogenic genes, driving up alkaline phosphatase, collagen synthesis and calcium deposition. At the same time it lowers markers of bone resorption, easing off the breakdown side so more of the bone you build stays put.

For your joints

Your joints rest on a layer of bone beneath the cartilage, and when that bone weakens the whole joint loses its support. BonePep® reinforces that foundation by waking up the osteoblasts that build it, helping them deposit collagen and calcium where they are needed. A denser, stronger bone bed under the joint is what lets the cartilage above keep doing its cushioning job.

Beyond the joint

Bone density is a whole-skeleton concern, not just a joint one, and the same peptide that supports the bone under your joints supports your hips, spine and frame too. By lowering bone-breakdown markers and feeding the build side, BonePep® helps preserve overall skeletal density that naturally thins with age, an effect seen most clearly in perimenopausal women when bone loss tends to accelerate. Stronger bone across the body underpins better structure, posture and physical resilience as you age.
